Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving always means 2 things to me: good dinner with family and then the bringing out of the christmas tree. To Krista, a holiday, or any day she deems to be special, means big planning, and a day full of activities. She brought out her 'desk' and plopped up on my bed and got to work. Grandma Bette came down to spend Thanksgiving with us.
This was her finished list of activities for the day.
These were just a few of her 'fortunes' that she passed out during the fortune telling phase

Grandma Bette brought down some knit crafters and they spent the next few hours knitting hats and scarves
Finally we brought out the Christmas tree and started working on it. Usually I get gung ho and do the tree, put together the village, hang up the garland and Will works on the outside. This year I did the tree and called it good for the day. I'll finish up the rest later.
Finally at dinner the 'story' portion of the day began. As you can see, Krista can be quite dramatic about everything. Notice the captive audience: Will with his head on the table and even grandma found something else to read while Krista read her book. Welcome to my world!
